Consorci de la Ribera energy department, together with Alzira City Council, is preparing a Public Procurement of Innovation for an amount of € 200,000, with the objective of replacing 121.94 m2 of exterior carpentry on a building facades in order to achieve an energy and CO2 emissions reduction associated to the goal of achieving an almost null energy building. The intervention will take place on the ‘Magatzem de Cucó' building, located at Calle La Pau, 28, 46600, Alzira (Valencia).
To promote this action, Consorci de la Ribera, together with Alzira City Council and the Polytechnic University of Valencia organized a market consultation within the framework of the European project PROMINENT MED (Public purchase of Innovation to stimulate the green growth in the Mediterranean area). The market consultation aims at identifying innovative exterior carpentry solutions that promote the energy consumption reduction associated to the windows, as well as CO2 emissions, while at the same time providing the necessary degree of soundproofing according to the use of the building.
As a preliminary action to the preparation of this tender, a market consultation session is being organized on March 8th, 2018, in the City Hall of Alzira, aiming at facilitating an open dialogue and the information flow between the administration and the potential suppliers.
This session is dedicated to window solutions manufacturers and suppliers interested in participating on the public tender that will be announced in 2018. During the event the technological needs will be discussed and a visit to the building will take place.
On the other hand, the attending industrialists will have the opportunity to report on the current state of the technology and promote their innovative solutions with a pre-registration.
