A technical workshop took place in the Universitat Politècnica de València, focused on small and medium enterprises, as well as research and technological organisations, to share the lessons learnt during the implementation of PROMINENT MED. The main highlights of the experts who participated in the panels are gathered in the following lines.
Fernando Conesa, Director of the Service of Research, Innovation and Transference of the Universitat Politècnica de València, Spain, highlighted that “Transference of knowledge is in the mindset of researchers. Technological surveillance, development of procurement and technical criteria, as well as technical monitoring is a section where researchers can assist to municipalities and companies. Even more at the origin, the creation of innovations and start-ups produce new opportunities for the society. In the field of networking, there are several matching events between demand and offer, along with diffusion events with relevant stakeholders of innovation to impulse innovation focused on needs. Therefore, the dialogue between the relevant agents in the quadruple helix of knowledge has to be promoted, in order to effectively explore the opportunities of transference and development”
