Highlights by Carmina Gil, Representative of the Vice-Principal of Entrepreneurship and Employment of the Universitat Politècnica de València, Spain
A technical workshop took place in the Universitat Politècnica de València, focused on small and medium enterprises, as well as research and technological organisations, to share the lessons learnt during the implementation of PROMINENT MED. The main highlights of the experts who participated in the panels are gathered in the following lines.
Carmina Gil, Representative of the Vice-Principal of Entrepreneurship and Employment of the Universitat Politècnica de València in Spain, highlighted that “The spirit of entrepreneurship is fundamental and innovation must be in the mindset of the university students. The training of future professionals is therefore essential to boost innovative solutions to solve the challenges for the future society, and the Universitat Politècnica de València has understood the commitment with the training of students. In particular, Innovation has been included as transversal soft skill among all technological degrees, and several workshops and events are taking place along the academic year to offer the students an attractive scenario and ecosystem for innovation”.
